Residing just outside the historic town of Wimborne, The Willett Arms is a family friendly pub boasting a chic bar area, an inviting dining room, and an attractive outdoor space that provides the ultimate retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
On the menu, you’ll find a wide range of tempting starters, light bites, and sharing platters, as well as devilish desserts and hearty mains that are sure to get your taste buds tingling.
We are a child friendly establishment, so please feel free to bring your little ones along … they’ll love tucking into our dedicated children’s menu!

Located in the village of Oakley in Dorset, The Willett Arms is situated on the top of Oakley Hill.
There are great transport links throughout the area, as well as plenty of footpaths and cycle ways. If you’re travelling by train, the nearest station is Poole, which is just a 12-minute drive away.
The Willett Arms is just a stone’s throw from the charming, historic market town of Wimborne.
The town’s main attraction is Wimborne Minister, which dates back to the 8th Century. You should also pay a visit to the childhood gallery and secret walled garden at the Priest’s House Museum, before browsing the exhibitions at Walford Mill Crafts.

Keeping Busy in Wimborne
With its picturesque location on the banks of the rivers Stour and Allen, there are also a whole host of interesting walks in and around Wimborne and the surrounding area. Set between the two rivers, the town is perfectly placed for riverside walks or bike rides. And, once you’ve worked up a healthy appetite, pop into The Willett Arms for a refreshing drink or a bite to eat.
Wimborne is also a Fairtrade town, so you can expect an exciting range of charming independent boutiques and specialist shops, alongside high street stores.
